Shop for all your Christmas needs at Hamilton’s Spar

‘STAY safe by shopping early, and beating the Christmas Eve rush’… This the important message that Charlie Hamilton wishes to extend to the loyal customers of Hamilton’s Spar this Christmas.

For Charlie, owner of Hamilton’s Spar shops in Omagh, Newtownstewart and Castlederg, the health of his customers and staff is of utmost priority, and with concerns of busy stores on Christmas Eve, he has encouraged everyone to consider shopping earlier than normal this year to ensure a safe and quick shop.

Speaking to the UH, Charlie and staff wished to thank all customers for their fantastic support and patience since the outbreak of Covid- 19.

“We really appreciate the help of our customers this year,” Charlie, who lives locally, said. “Our customers have worn their face masks in-store, adhered to social-distancing guidelines, and sympathetically stood outside as they wait for their turn to shop with us.

“And while we have invested in our own sanitising equipment, and sanitise our shops regularly to keep customers safe, we are still keen to spread the message that this year, that it is important to shop early to beat the Christmas Eve rush.

“In previous years, we have always been extremely busy on Christmas Eve, and transactions in general take longer as shoppers’ orders are larger. “But this year, with only a limited number of shoppers allowed in-store at any one particular time, and long queues expected on Christmas Eve, we wish to advise all customers to pop in earlier than usual to ensure a safe and quicker shop with us.

“Shop early – shop often.”

Hamilton’s Spar has your Christmas all wrapped up, with hampers that include all of your essential needs.

Off-licences stocked with your favourite Christmas beverages are now available in all three stores. Charlie concluded by giving his loyal customers a very special Christmas message.

“We promise to keep improving our services and range; trying even harder to meet your needs next year,” Charlie said. “Have a very merry and safe Christmas.”
